News from the main source:
“Vinyl has made a strong comeback in recent years, and we are delighted to announce that The Garden returns to Oslo. After years of years of closures of record stores globally in Norway, we reported on an unusual news about something as rare as a new business in this challenging industry. The Garden has a long and proud tradition based in the oldest town Tønsberg, and starting in 1986 (and the sale over the counter in 1991) must be one of the longest running independent music stores in the flora of idealists as spirits of the spread of the round format.
With major facilities, knowledgeable staff and a wide range of products, we are ready to do our utmost to ensure that our customers’ wishes will be fulfilled. After more than 20 years in business, we have a built up a good reputation, both among the hardest collectors, and among the more relaxed music lovers. The plan is to continue this positive trend in the capital. Our range spans wide in most genres and we are of course helpful if we lack what you want. New Releases, timeless classics, huge vinyl boxes and plenty of goodies for a cheap price in the used department; vinyl shop The Garden has it all. We will, to the best of ability, fulfill all your wishes in music listening and stretching for legendary taverns as Amoeba (LA), Sister Ray (London), Rough Trade (London), Other Music (NYC).”
