nyMusikk have been puveryors of the most interesting contemporary music events in Norway to date. Their annual festival Only Connect kicks off tomorrow, and is this year inspired by the avant-sci-fi author J.G. Ballard. Performances and themes revolve around Oslo’s city space and it’s new urban areas. What other town can you see Oneohtrix Point Never‘s sound installation, Throbbing Gristle’s Carter Tutti commission a work, and a screening of a Cronenberg flick– all in one weekend? Oslo rules.
