Holy shit, this week went fast and we forgot to give you some recommendation as we’ve been busy at the Film Fra Sør film festival. You still got the weekend left and we’ve got two solid choices for you:

La Luz (all the way from Seattle WA) play at Revolver on Friday. We even got some famous djs for this gig; no, not Bad Sounds but Toby Dammit (Iggy & the Stooges) and Lenny Kaye (Patti Smith Group). Bad Sounds have witnessed them live in Seattle and recommend you get your asses down to Revolver to check it out.

Saturday and Sunday check out a film and lecture by Eric Isaacson from Mississippi Records, a label specializing in reissues of American folk music. Music from Marisa Anderson and Dragging An Ox Through Water. Sunday Cellist Lori Goldston will play live to Carl Theodor Dreyer’s silent film “The Passion of Joan of Arc” (1928). Introduction to the film by Silja Espolin Johnson, producer. This is all happening at Kunstnernes Hus.

There you go, you didn’t even need to plan your own weekend. We planned it for you. Enjoy!
